Subject: List of facial expression dials (morphs)

pikesPit ( ) posted Thu, 13 February 2020 at 2:53 PM · edited Fri, 10 January 2025 at 3:40 AM

Hello,

for a project I am working on I need a complete list of all the

  • EXPRESSION DIALS

in any of these figures:

  • Dawn / Dusk
  • Pauline / Paul
  • Roxie / Rex
  • What I need are the "internal names" of the dials (e.g., in V4: 'PHMMouthSmileSimple')
  • Alternatively, you can send me a "Zero Face/Expressions" .pz2 file for any of these figures. (Use sitemail to not violate any @Copywrongs)

The reason why I ask for your help is that I don't have the above figures (or not in thier most recent incarnation), so if you could provide me the lists would be extremely apreciated

Don't bother with formatting of any kind: I'll do that myself - all I need are the internal morph names for the expressions.

Thank you for your help!

regards, Peter

If you have Poser 11, I'm pretty sure all of those figures are included?

No Ohki, I'm still on PP2014 :(

Oh dang :(

I'll try to make you some .pz2's. I don't think that's any copyright violation, otherwise sharing poses for free would be, too.

Let me just finish the thing I'm working on and I'll try.

Wait I can't get you Roxie and Rex because those are in the old content zips and I'd have to download that and it's huge and my connection isn't the best yadda yadda hopefully someone else can get those for you?

I'm gonna get you Dawn and Dusk, though. And I think Paul and Pauline, pretty sure I got the right figures (outside of their folders for some reason?)

BTW, it's now Paul2 and Pauline2. Did you need the Paul and Pauline initial versions or the latest, version 2?

if you can, please include BOTH versions (so I can sort out any differences) because I want this script to have all options available in the form of multiple expressions lists.

Muito obrigado!

Peter

De nada!

Here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=18NJ-53NlkKmf6gp8BIeewfwpnLAW2RE0

Please note that I just stripped these into dial key information, ALL the dials are included in the files there - would take me days to strip the non-expression dials from them (and as I don't remember how Dawn works and I've never used the other figures, I'm not even sure what is what there). I hope it's useful anyway!

Yayy!

Thank you very much Ohki, that's just perfect.

I think I can figure out myself which dials are for expressions and which are for head/face shape.

And if I make a mistake it's easy to correct because all this comes as a configurable/editable list (no Python knowledge needed) :

...

PHMBrowUp-Down

PHMMouthSmileSimple

PHMMouthSmileOpen

...

etc.

in the form of a simple text file.

Peter

Thank you :)

More soon, because I'm still struggling with how to best include the face chips (or control props a la 'PE') in an expression file.

regards

Peter
