Subject: V3 content Morphs stopped working with new Poser 11

Hi, I want to work with older items, and unfortunately it seems that they won't work in the new P11... it's Shee Keera Hair from Aeon_Soul, which was available back in the days here on 'rosity, but is not longer. Figures and hair load fine, but when I try to add the morphs to the hair nothing happen. All morphs loaded with limits from -10000 to 10000 and without name, nothing happen whenn using the dials or doubleclick on a preset. Anyone else with this?

Thanks in advance, Paul

Are other types of morphs working for any other hair or figure? Where is your content installed for Poser 11? I am assuming that you are running Poser 11 under Windows, something more current than Vista.

I use V3 all the time. Never have problems with any of the content I bought 20 years ago for her. I have a tank top by the same guy and it works fine.

Are you using the injection poses? There are four injection poses for the various parts of the hair and all thumbnails have a purple arrow pointing downwards.
You need to apply these first and the rest are just poses to be used after applying the INJ poses:

@Kalypso: yes, I used the injection poses first. No reaction on the hair when applying a pose then. I'm on Win7pro with Bondware Poser 11pro and DAZ Studio 4.12. The funny thing is, when I use the hair in DAZ Studio, I run also into problems but not as much as in Poser. I can load the hair, add the inj, and couldn't apply any poses with a double click from a preset BUT I can set the morphs via dial. In Poser I can't do anything. see screenshot. No names on the dials, no reaction on the dials (and yes I load the inj first for sure).

Ok, those injection poses reference other .pz2 files here: :Runtime:Libraries:!aerysoul:SheeKiira:sk_backhair.pz2" Have you moved anything recently and maybe they're not at this location any more?

No, all in place where they should be... exactly at this path -> Runtime:Libraries:!aerysoul:SheeKiira:sk_backhair.pz2 Perhaps I should do a fresh install...

Should be simple to solve ! Due the fact that the hair is a Prop " Hair Figure " it will not load any morphs until you have a figure loaded , best load first your Doll then load the hair. the hair will auto parent to your doll. now load the Inj files into the Hair it will work just fine :) .... after this act save your Hair with loaded morphs as new Hair model in your library this will prevent having to do it every time. This will most probably solve your little issue

forgot to mention also concerning any Prop in your case the hair to be able to apply any Pz2 files it needs to be parented to a figure cr2 to work as basically the Prop it self is not compatible with Pz2 files unless it has a Cr2 loaded. The Cr2 cheats out and lets Poser think that it is a Figure and not a Prop. so also when you will in future want to use the pz2 material colors you will be forced having a figure cr2 loaded in the scene, else the click on your pz2 actions will have no affect at all on PP2 and Hr2 files. this role concerns any Prop and Hair model
