My question is...does these two characters have too many similar textures or not? I'm not advanced enough to have a great eye for detail and would appreciate any advice on purchasing Yuma. I've placed her in my shopping cart, though i think i'll wait on some advice. I really like her, but would she have significant differences from Asia? Thanks!

as far as i know,steffyzz took all here texture down and you cant buy anymore.Sad things happen :-((

Thanks, sh..... You have been really, in my opinion, very helpful to this community of late. I loved your showings of the various textures. I have been having my own mental problem with credits for purchased items, in the store. All of my gallery, that i uploaded, when i was in a hurry, in just scribbled on the back of a business card how to get to renderosity, and, find my gallery. That was fine for a good while. However, I had several clients who ventured further....actually 3...checked out some of the other gallery pics, and from there checked out our "marketplace". Since the texture makers don't really model, all turned out well, for me. However, I will not make that mistake another time. If I upload to gallery, here...it will just be for fun. With all the "credits", I feel like there is a movement to have a total monopoly on anything that can be potentially a moneymaker. I always have my mind on my money. Plus, it ain't like they asked me to collaborate. Cliques are swell. Cliques suck if they focus on making my wallet any lighter. If you have 12 or 14 friends, to whom you give "freebies" under the guise of "beta testing"...but, really, it is advertising...that is my thing i do well, advertising....You can, among your group, lock out the competition, even if your product is not the best. This is wrong. I abhorr it. As for the Steffyzz textures...I hate those lines around the neck area. There are dark streaks, that remind me of skin that seriously needs exfoliating. Kinda like the old song..Ring around the collar. Pop...pop...Poppi!!!

I have the Yoda/Yazoo variant of Yuma (as I was looking for a natural look at the time) & it works quite well in lo-lite renders. In brite conditions, especially in closeup, the highlites look too much like dry,scaly skin for my taste. Only other thing I don't care for is the size of the textures, but that's the price of high-resolution :-)

Is the Yoda/Yazoo Texture working also on Vicky - I guess yes, but only wanted to make sure. Because I like the freckles-style, they look very nice to me. And any suggestion would be great, which one from Steffyzz to buy: Noa or the new ones?

Thanks Poppi, I had been distracted for a month or so with some other work but I am back :) I just think I have gotten a lot from the folks here - in fact, the entire direction of my production house has changed after seeing how realistic Poser can be in talented hands. Along the way I have spent some money on some textures that really didn't look the way they should, and I am hoping that this series of ttests can help us get a little better view of things.

Ich hab noa und asia und mag beide sehr,obwohl ich in der letzten zeit mehr mit carly und imana von dalinise rendere. man bekommt bei den neuen halt wesentlich mehr.versch augenfarben,makeup....und matposen.mir geflt yuma eigentlich sehr gut

Ja, ich bin auch eher f Yuma als f den Doppelpack, leider ist Asia nirgens zu sehen, denn die hte ich am liebsten, aber Noa ist auch nicht schlecht. Und Du meinst wirklich das Yoda/Yazoo nich auf Vicky passen? Warum? Ich denke die Girls und Vicky haben die (einigerman) gleiche Textur. rigens, hier wimmelt es scheinbar vor lauter Deutschen? bin immer wieder errascht, wer doch alles deutsch schreibt.

Ich glaube nicht ,dass die girls und viccy den gleiche *.obj file benutzen, und das ist das entscheidende.Weil die texturen auf dem obj-file basieren. Ich perslich finde noa sogar besser als asia,bzw gleichgut noa ist nicht so hochauflend und man hat keine speicherprobleme

Also ich habe Vicky und die Girls, und kann jede Vicky Textur auch bei den Mels benutzen, sie pa zwar nicht 100% aber die Augen und der Mund usw. sind an der richtigen Stelle. Es sind nur mm die abweichen. Hast du die Mels?

Ach ja, Speicher! Habe sei ich meinen neuen Computer habe kaum noch probleme mit dem Speicher (2x256MB)- teils liegt es auch viel an der Grafikkarte. Hatte vorher eine 32 MB Rage, jetzt NVIDA GeForce2 MX400 seit der Zeit Null-Probleme mehr. Habe mal ausprobiert und 7 x Vicky (mit Kleidung und allen Morphs die ich hatte) geladen und der Compi ist nur etwas langsamer geworden aber hat genauso schnell gerendert wie vorher. Nun ja, ich weinoch nicht welche TEX ich nehmen werde, ich hte gerne eine die "Haut" zeigt aber Carly (oder wie immer sie hei) werde ich auf jeden Fall auch nehmen. Mir geflt die Lippenfarbe die alle so doof finden nlich sehr gut.

find die lippenfarbe auch gut,und passt gut mit den augen zusammen.na dann wirf ne mze....oder kauf alle
