Subject: God Rays in Subscription Vue

Does anybody get God Rays with the new Vue?

I open a new scene, choose a godray athmosphere and render, shouldn't be too much room for error.

Then I switched off god rays and rendered again, see the results below.

Do you see the difference? There is a difference: With godrays on it rendered 10 times as long

Vue is a very volatile program. I tweak here and there and the result is mostly not as expected. Or I follow a tutorial and already at the second step my thing looks completely different then the one in the tutorial. Support from Bentley is close to not existent. Pure Vue Forums or Forums with reasonable activity on Vue Topics, I couldn't find, included here. So we are quite lonely people with our problems. Nevertheless, Vue is a amazing piece of software and I'm just happy with the results I get, even they are not perfect or far from what I really intended to do.

The lack of community is really disheartening. You'll find much more on Vue.js than Vue, it doesn't help there isn't really a name to search for "Vue 2020".

Unexpected results is nothing I usually fear, but when the standard unaltered atmosphere shows no godrays, that might be a bug or eon just didn't care to update the presets for the latest version. Whichever it is, waisting time finding solutions for basic tasks now costs $75 a month and I think I am not willing to pay for finding bugs.

I can't help you in your particular problem but I have two links to quite good tutorials:

E-on

quadspinner

In quadspinner you get the master classes which are quite useful for anything you want to do.
