Subject: Minor problem with 11.3

In the Material Room, at the bottom of the main PoserSurface node I used to have a flat display of the final result that was going to be applied to the model. Now I have a disembodied head with the texture applied. How do I get it back to the flat display?

This was already discussed before because many disliked that "disembodied" head. It was just another bad idea of SmithMicro, and totally useless. But it has been solved already!

Problem is - I just can't remember HOW because I don't render with SF, thus I still have the classic preview in the material room.

It only shows if you set your render to Souperfly, iirc.

Maybe someone else can chime in with the solution?

Well, the Firefly vs. Superfly is obviously why it stopped working. When I switch, its back to normal its working the way I want it to. I recall that the solution amounted to finding "Head.obz" and replacing it with a square primitive. Unfortunately that's not working either.

I remember that it was a tad more complex than just swapping geometries, thus the request for other members's input.

We have a great pool of experts here.

Seachnasaigh discusses how to do that in the old SM Poser forum.

Try this address: https://forum.smithmicro.com/topic/2440/new-to-poser/5 for the thread.

The answer should be the seventh post down.
