The problem often is not the eyes themselves but the lashes cover the eyes in shadow. Try repositioning yotu lights so the light is directly inthe eyes you will see them again/ Also try making the lashes transparent. Up the ambience on the eyes by changing the ambient color and changing the specular color. These are a couple options that you can try.

By going into the texture editor and changeing the ambience setting on the part you want to changeNOTE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT PART HIGHLIGHTED OR YOUR WHOLE MODEL WILL TURN TO THE COLORS YOU HAVE SET(BEEN THERE DONE THAT)you can also play with the diffusion settings to also try putting a light close to the character and turning off cast shadows then turn the color of the light to tan skin tone and there you have it tweak with the settings a little

Hey gang. I am having this problem. i save a figure from poser in an obj format. But when I bring it in bryce for some reason the eyes are black. But in the texture lab it shows the eyes as having the textures in place. So then I turn around and ungroup the figure and change the color of the figure to white, but then the texture for the eyes still does not work. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong??
