Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 11 3:50 am)
Yes, you can, but I have dozens and dozens of folders in there, and it takes forever to scroll through them and having so many folders makes things harder to find. Meanwhile there's only a couple folders in my Faces library, so I'm going to move all my MATs there. Anyhoo... don't know what's so logical about opening the "Pose" library to apply a texture rather than a pose. A "Textures" library would be the logical spot. ;) Phoenix
Great, I do it this way: 1 Folder called Poses - inside only poses 1 Folder called MAT with only MAT and keep them on the same harddrive as Poser, then if I need poses I cut and paste the folder poses and if I need MATs then I use the folder MAT. I only keep the poses and MATs I use often in there. So this is may a lot of cut and paste, but my poserfolder takes Years to surch... Thanks for the great Idea!

I got exasperated with my Pose folder. It was bad enough before MAT files, and since they gained popularity it can't fit into anything but its sweat pants. So I tried this, and it worked. You can change the extension on your MAT poses from PZ2 to FC2 and just move 'em on over to the Faces folder. They also work in the hands folder if you change the extension to HD2... in that case it will ask you if you want to apply the MAT to the right or left hand, but the MATs will be applied correctly regardless (though it's annoying). You can download freeware programs to automatically change the extensions of all selected files, which makes the whole thing really quick. Thought this might be haelpful to others who are sick of all the scrolling. Phoenix
