Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 28 11:20 am)
There's always a bunch of unneeded files. A long time ago the installers gave the choice of installing only the real stuff. The installer's front panel still has the fake choice, but you can't actually choose anything except Full Install.

The problem is those figures are not legacy. If you happen to own Generation 2's from way back then it would make sense. However, if no one is interested in working with those figures, you just get software bloat with unnecessary files.
You don't speak for all Poser users.
I use all the figures - the only way to get diversity.

I just installed the latest version of Poser 11.3, build 818 and I noticed that the PoserSupport executable is loading quite of a large number of extra files for figures not included in the content files. Particularly, head morphs designated for the Face Room are showing Miki, Miki 3, Kelvin, Koji, and other Generation 2 figures not included in the Poser 11 Content runtime. My question now, will those figures be released to us as additional free Poser Content in the near future? This entirely caught my interest and I hope there is an explanation for the extra files.
