Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 8:11 pm)
Glitter just bringing out a dozen gemstones!
Hm, I have some but they've already been shown around. They're promos. I. uh. I mostly render promos.

Yes, I thought so too and I really love the harem pants. So I just made them for this render ;) But I changed the style a bit and now it's working, but the set is not finished yet and it looks different now.

The fitting room and a lot of language I shouldn't repeat here. L'homme's clothes wanted to get the size from both the scaling dials and the morph dials and it took me a while to figure out what was wrong.

Messing around with skin (merchant resource but HEAVILY edited) and morphs I've made for L'Homme. Since there is a huge lack of expressions for L'Homme the face chips DO come in handy in getting something other than a blank stare or a weird smile! LOL
I also converted Timeless Hair from Michael 4 over. I think this is one of my all time favorite hairstyles. It's very natural looking with pleasant waves flowing back and no weird stuff trying to impress the users, it's a simple, elegant and masculine hair prop. I would LOVE it if Goldtassel converted allot of their hairs over to La'Femme and L'Homme.

Hiya, No, Gino was created originally for Genesis 8 Male. I decided to try to recreate him for Poser using L'Homme. Gino is a sculpt I did in ZBrush. I'm still trying to get my head around Poser and all it can do. The expression was created using the facial chips. They really are amazing to play with!

CLASSY!
So your having good luck with Cross Dresser then? I've got some clothing I made for Genesis and Dusk and Dawn that I'm hoping I can get over to both L'Homme and La'Femme! Been a good long while since I've used that program!

Here's a render I did with LF, with mix of my custom and Pro Face morphs. Clothing made by MD. Just thought I show something here.

First image I ever posted on Renderosity. I had Poser since version 2. I stopped using it for a few years, but then L'Homme came out and I had to buy him. I watch a few of the Renderosity videos which helped bring back all the nuts and bolts I had forgotten. The tutorials are quite good. I have been fighting with the lights though. They are really hard to move around. I find them in one view and select them and start to position them, then I switch to another view, but the light is no longer selected and I have to search all around to find it again. But today, I learned how make them appear solid instead of outlined and that helps alot. The clothes were originally for Mke 3, I think. I used CrossDresser to convert them for L'Homme.
I posted this in the Superfly Render thread, too.
I wish Superfly didn't take so long. This took me at least a half hour to render. I selected Superfly Ultra non-branched, HDRI, no lights.

La Femme Terrible
Just a quick face morph I threw together (about 10 minutes in Mudbox) as a joke. The real things I'm working on for the lass are much more flattering, or horrific, depending on which dials I spin. I'll post some of them when my work is nearer completion. IDL Firefly, medium settings, about 12 minutes to render. Textures by me.
Here's the set up...
Meanwhile
Eldritchcellar stomps off dejected and vowing revenge, dragging a sobbing La Femme behind him.
Once safely ensconced within his eldritch cellar, Eldritchcellar goes to work, hastily performing radical deconstructive surgery upon a hapless La Femme.
Brandishing a silvered hand mirror with a flourish, he thrusts it into La Femme's trembling grasp with a diabolical finality
"Look now upon the wonders I have wrought unto you La Femme!"
La Femme reluctantly gazes upon her visage and
"Gasp! Wha- what? what have you done to my beautiful face!? No. Nooooooo! L'Homme will never love me if I look like this, you- you've made me into a... MONSTER!!!
We draw the curtain as La Femme lay in a heap at the feet of Eldritchcellar; she convulsing with tears, he twisting his oiled mustachios with triumphant triumph.

I can't resist a challenge, but since I'm not eligible for the contests here, I thought I'd post my couples picture here.

What is that they're lounging on? I don't think I've seen that before.

Thanks. They're on a huge swing. It actually inspired the image. It's called sweetdreams by ARTCollab over at Daz

lol. I have no idea when I got it. I was sorting out a runtime and found it. I'm gonna have to do some cleaning and see what other inspiration I can find.

I bought a lot of ARTCollab items back when I was still using DS 3. Then I started using Poser again, and then I left DS behind after the original DS 4.0 came out. So it's been a while since I've used any of their products, and this laptop's only 8 months old, so don't have any of my older products installed. I'm going to have to do something about that.

To start off here's a little "toonified" Superfly render with "Les Femmes du 1960s"!
