Is the bonus item random, or do we choose it? Random would seem odd since some items might not be useful depending on what kind of renders someone likes to create. I'm still new-ish here and haven't seen a BOGO with more than one potential bonus item before now, so... How does it work?

Thank you, but that's the page which caused me to ask the question. It says:

The item is gifted by the system automatically after check out and payment - that much I understand. What I'm asking is whether the gifted item is selected by the system, or whether we're presented with a choice of which item the system will gift after checkout and payment?

The way I read it, it seems it is randomly selected by the system. IMO if that is the case, it significantly reduces the value of the deal. :0/

@Klutz: Agreed. I could probably use twelve of the items, but not the other four, so I'd have a three in four chance of getting some value from the offer. Not the worst odds, but not very compelling either.

But if I could select (for example) Rayne or Easy Reflections, then it would become a pretty good deal because I'm already interested in those items.

I might buy Arwen anyway because I like the look of the character (despite the geoshell extra failing to impress), but I'd like to know what to expect beforehand.
