Subject: Poser 11 Morph tool Question

consumer573 ( ) posted Sat, 12 September 2020 at 8:49 AM ยท edited Sat, 21 December 2024 at 10:07 PM

I loaded Poser 11 and it seems to be working well.

I am trying to use the Morph tool, which was indispensable in Game Developer. Specifically Win7 PPro11 trying to adjust clothing on a V4 character. The morph tool never opens up into the colored heat pattern that you see in Game developer. It just seems to sit there as an empty round brush circle. If there is a known error, kindly point me to the thread. If it's me, can someone tell me what step I'm missing? Neither figure is locked, I checked. The clothing is conformed to v4 and I'm trying too patch a poke through. I used on this combination in Game Developer before. It's an existing file I'm practicing on.

Thank you.

Okay it looks like this one is operator error; Walked away and came back and saw problem.

Can anyone tell me the default values for "Tighten fit" Radius, magnitude and poke-through margin? I've now gotten them out of whack.

You need to create a 'new' morph first. At the top of the Morph Tool you'll see "Select or Create Morph" - click on the arrow next to that and select New. You can name it or leave it as it is by default. It works like before after that.

the default tighten fit radius is .0150, the magnitude is .5, and the poke-through margine is 0. and the brush option is the second from the left if you need that too.

The default 0.5 magnitude at least on my system is a bit on the stiff side though. .2 gives a bit more control.
