Poser11.3(Specific module: python27.dll) crashes every time in the following case in my environment:

It may be caused by DSON Importer....

After the clean installation of 11.3.813, python27.dll didn't crash with File-Exit. However, it crashes again after the reinstallation of DSON Importer.

It crashes when deleting a G2F from a scene, and Event Viewer shows the same code(0xc0000005) and the same offset(0x0000000000119a32).

OK Poser just told me there was an update available - The .exe file shows File Version 11.3.813.0, I'm currently on 1.3.740. What benefits from this upgrade and what files need to be downloaded? Do I need to download the content files again or just the 3 main files?

TIA

The content files have not updated recently so just the 3 files are necessary ATM.

One thing I've noticed that isn't good is that there is no template for La'Femme or L'Homme for the Face room. Or I don't know what I'm talking about but not sure who's face that is I'm greeted by, Rex or someone like that? Shouldn't that have been set up properly for La'Femme and L'Homme since they are now the stars of the show?

Any one else having trouble with Poser crashing when trying to delete anything or starting a new project? Mine crashes constantly anymore.

Poser11.3(Specific module: python27.dll) crashes every time in the following case in my environment:

  • Trying to close Poser by File-Exit.
  • Trying to delete a Genesis/G2F/G2M from a scene.
  • Trying to close a scene including Genesis/G2F/G2Ms.

Same problem. Any solution for this yet?

Not here. Haven't installed the newest update, I hope that's not the culprit! 😟

Just read this Looks like DSON, genesis 2 and Python are no longer working together. Sucks that I have just been investing in Victoria 6 (genesis 2). And that it has already been a true headache to get that working.

RAMWorks ( ) posted Wed, 10 June 2020 at 8:20 PM

Hmm, read it but I don't think that's the issue your having. The article talked about Poser 12, this is still Poser 11 with updates.

I get that too.

Just downloaded and installed 11.3.818. It still can not find the DLL modules for Python Shell or KinectCapture. Is this ever going to be addressed? I've had this problem since the original release.

Not mentioned before : my EZSkin3 has vanished from the scripts. Whatever I try to install it manually, no result.

The latest update .818 seems to be worse than previous update in terms of failing to close properly. About half the time it gets "stuck" while closing and has to be halted via the task manager.

(Again this is an impression, not a precise count.)

Just upgraded my system. Went from Windows 7 and a GTX 970 to windows 10 and an RTX 2070. Same CPU in both, an i7 hexacore. Game fps more than doubled, Blender render times went from 2.5 hrs to 40 minutes on a test scene. Loaded a scene from Poser that had taken 12 and a half hours to render and... I stopped the render after 11 and a half hours as the render was only 62% complete. How on Earth can a 2070 be seen as 2/3rds as powerful as a 970?

ironsoul ( ) posted Fri, 24 July 2020 at 3:49 AM

This has been reported in the forums several times with no solution, you could try raising it with support to see if they can help.

piersyf ( ) posted Fri, 24 July 2020 at 6:27 AM

Cheers for that. I did briefly contemplate leaving the 970 in below the 2070, but the MSI 970 needed 2 8 pin power sockets, and my PSU only had 2 spare for the pcie slots... it was the 970 or the 2070, and every other piece of software I have benefited from the upgrade... We'll probably get an update for the 20 series just as the 30 series are released...

I have 11.3.740, which crashes whenever I try to load any large pz3 files or delete individual actors from a scene... are my files too big? My i5 only handles 16GB, which I upgraded to Corsair. No difference. Are you saying .818 doesn't resolve this issue?

Hi,

I just installed Poser 11.3 (from 11.2) to get L'Homme. Installed the main installer AND PoserSupport.exe.

Now I have neither L'Homme or La Femme in my Poser 11 Runtime.

I don't see a separate download for them. La Femme download seems to be clothing only.

How do I find them, please?

Thanks, Epi

EpiEndless ( ) posted Sun, 04 October 2020 at 4:21 PM

Oh, I see. It put them into "C:UsersPublicDocumentsPoser 11 Content" (Installer offers Hobson's choice)

Despite my ACTUAL runtime being "D:3D ModelsPoserLibrariesPoser 11 Content"

Thank you very much.

Update 818 seems to be missing the textures for the P6 characters (or at least they're not included with either the Nudes or Figures zips). Actually it seems to be missing ALL textures. There's not even a textures directory in the Poser 11 Content Runtime. Clearly I am missing something, but do not know what.
