Subject: Script for removing unchanged / unnecessary keyframes

Hey there,

i have animations where some keyframes contain unnecessary informations. For example if just the value of Transf.[x] changes during an animation but the keyframe was set for ‚Scale' as well is it possible to remove a keyframe with an unchnaged value (which was previously wrong inserted) by script or is there a hidden function? Currently i remove them manually but that feels a little bit cumbersome.

I have several OLD scripts that do this job in various ways. Some of them may need a small fix to work in P11. I know the fix and can do it instantly.

Look in my website under Animation. The Smoother and Sparsifier and Periodizer are variants on this function. If they fail, let me know by email and I'll fix immediately.

I just tried your script "sparsifier-mac.py" on my Mac (Poser 11.3.818) and it worked perfectly. The ability to remove all unneeded/unwanted keyframes has been on my wish list a long time...if only I'd known! I'll be testing the others I downloaded but they don't have "mac" indicated in the names–are they PC only?
