The dots were also in poser 11, but these look to be much bigger, easier to see.

Yes they are, and what I always have an issue with is seeing the vertical slider in the Heirarchy Editor. I have to practically put my face to my monitor to see it in order to scroll down the list of items in my scene. Chuck Taylor said he would look into it, so I hope he got that fixed as well.

They were in a previous version. You could modify one of the .psd files and they would show up. That being said, I do like this version.

Agreed, both about the new brighter dots being an improvement, and the scroll bars are too narrow throughout.
I don't know if this happens to everyone else, but the biggest annoyance for me is accidentally double-clicking the dials (and popping open a window) when I just meant to make a small adjustment.

In Poser 12 these dot's show you which parameters are different from their default value.. That's pretty cool
