Hey Savage, He's pretty much finished, I just finished making a back scaboard and mapping it in uvmapper. My computer was down for a short while (I tried to install NT and messed up Win98. So, I had to reinstall. Guess I'll wait for XP). I'm trying to figure out a way I can send you the changes in the textures I'm using without actually sending the textures. (There not my textures to give away). The boots still seem to have a problem when animating. they sometimes ride up his ankles and his feet come through the bottom. (They should be okay for stills though).

Ahh, by the way any idea what the color settings for vlocanic blue would be. I think the eys are to light.

The skin looks a little fake. I think it's because its all one color I would add some color diference to the scars and to the lips. Especially the lips there is always a slight color change in the lip as it changes from the outer exposed area to the protected inner area of the mouth. The face morph and bump map look great, and remind me of the book covers and marvel comics I saw as a kid.

Volcanic blue... I would say Conan's eyes are dark blue, I guess with a reflection to make them a little alive. Btw. Will you make him fit for Michael 2 when he comes out too (I mean make morphs for Michael 2)? As for texture, someone here in the forum combined two textures (It was SteffyZZs Asia and a painted one) to make it even greater. I tried this and it worked out really well except for the eyebrows. What I want to try is to combine the texture you've got with SteffyZZs Edo texture and see what happens :)

I seem to remember in one of Howard's stories they were described as volcanic blue. Which makes me think of a dark glowing blue. I will probably keep working on Conan for the rest of my life on and off as the character has always held a place in my heart since I was kid, as did Kull and Tarzan as well. These tales swept my imagination away to different worlds and in some part helped to form the man I am today. I will deffinately make the stuff I have now work with Micheal 2. I'm also anxious to see Drax's Muscle Mike and see it it would make a better Conan. I've purchased the new Cleopatra hair and I want to try using that on Conan for animation purposes. I have a multiple scene animation I want to do with Conan. (I could work on this stuff for the next 10 years every day and not be bored) In the future I would really like to bring Frank Frazetta's Conan to life in a 3D animation. I have many other characters and images that I want to do floating around in my head. It's just hard to find the time sometimes. And of coarse there is the learning curve, but I learn something new every time I work on something. Sorry didn't mean to go on and on there. I think Edo texture would be pretty cool.

Hehe. I've been waiting and wanting a Conan character since the first day I got Poser. I've been playing around with these other figures but all I really want is to make images of our mutual hero. I've run the Conan Website since 1995 when there where only 4 websites around. Nothing would please me more than having a great Conan character in poser which I could then use in Vue d'esprit. I see images in my head, I want to recreate the old SSOC magazines or at least certain scenes, but the main character is missing... Well... enough ranting. I'm back to work :)
