Here is my entry. The stump is an original photogrammetry asset of mine processed in Meshroom and then cleaned up (re-meshed and texture paint editing) in Blender. The moss and the grass are original textures, modeled, and used as particles to populate the stump. (The clover texture was a CC0 asset.) (The HDRI background is also a CC0 asset from hdrihaven.com.)

Minimal editing was done in Photoshop (sharpen, slight color correction, resize, and addition of Blender badge.)

Rendered in Blender using Cycles.

I agree Lobo. That is a fantastic entry keppel.

I can't take credit for the Firefly model although it did require some mesh modifications, uv corrections and texturing adjustments.

Still looks great I came across the blue prints for the Firefly on the web once and considered taking it on as project but think it would to big to tackle myself

I sent Lobo a private message about this today because I know that thread notifications aren't working reliably lately. I just hope he is OK. I haven't seen him post in a couple of days and he is usually very active on the forum. I hope we hear from him soon, I'm beginning to get concerned.

Hello everyone my apologizes to everyone in the forum we had a lost in our family and due to COVID restrictions and other issues I was unavailable I was seems wrongfully under the impression that those who were running this contest would have stayed on top of it while I was away I know we had just two entries and there seems to have been some misunderstanding about the voting and the winner was going to be decided by the team of moderators and coordinators so I need to find out what the decision was so please bear with me and again my apologizes for any inconvenience this has caused.

Like I said to you in a private message, I'm just glad you are ok health-wise, Jose. I knew something wasn't right when I hadn't seen your post for a couple of days. I don't stop by here often, but that alarmed me. I'm just relieved to know that you are okay, although I'm saddened by your loss as well.

Condolences to you and your family Lobo. Hope everyone is doing as well as they can in the circumstances. I'm happy for the challenge to re-open or be extended to maybe get more entries and allow for proper voting. I'm good with whatever you decide.

The challenge has been decided so will go with that for now maybe if we want to try again in the new year we might I usually do not run contest or challenges not my strongest skill set and this challenge was my understanding being run by others from the back end staff and the ball sort of got dropped and then my having to deal with the family issue came all at bad timing but appreciate all your patients your a great group and very proud to say that I think our little corner of Renderosity is the best place on the whole site

I will let them know you have not gotten it yet by any chance have you received either a site mail from Renderosity or E-mail do check and make sure it did not go into a spam folder also make sure your E-mail on file is current but I will contact the admin who releases and sends prizes
