I'm looking into this, but at this point, everyone I've talked to has done it one at a time.

well.. not very promising. if that's the case, i'm not wasting time/energy for that, screw albums - anyways, it's not like i have many visitors since my stuff is not teh shit, just barely average.. still, to the RD designers/programmers out there, this would be an excellent upgrade idea

Doing anything like that at the Rendo gallery is a huge pain, since it also requires uploading the image again.
really? i thought it was just an edit like you would have to do to correct the text - which is already annoying enough for me not to do it for every single of my what, 20 sth pix... however if you have to not only enter the upload UI to pick an album but also to re-upload the whole thing, urgh. can't grasp why this has never been optimized.

You can move an image to an album. You don't have to re-upload it. Unfortunately, I still don't know of a way to move them in a group.

yes, by "move" - instead of a simple drag&drop or even way better, being able to add pictures from the album UI - you mean edit/open the image, pick the album from the pulldown, re-click the box where you certify it's your work, re-click submit. for every single pic. imagine for those who have many pix. or if you suddenly change ideas and want certain already moved pix in another album... geez.

You're complaining about 50 images or so. I have almost 800. I agree it's not an efficient way to do it. I was just correcting MarkCM who said you had to reupload the image.

oh i realized you were correcting him ^^ - and i don't especially complain just about "myself"/my few pix or the work that i personally would have, but about the lack of imagination/practical sense of those who implemented this like that in the first place, also about the fact that we had at least 2 upgrades/site "improvements" in the last years, however nobody thought of this PITA in the gallery/albums... and i'm speaking for everyone else too, especially those who have a lot of pix, like you ^^

There is a green feedback tab on the right side of every page. You might use it to make a suggestion. I can't promise the change will be made, or if it is how soon it will be done. I imagine those who came up with the idea might have assumed we'd up the images in albums right away and didn't think about reorganization later.

prolly a stupid question - especially since i've been here for quite a while lol... but searching for "album" didn't get me results.
i finally have enough pics in my gallery that it might make sense to organize them in albums.
creating an album is not the problem, i just did. BUT! to add pictures to my album(s), don't tell me i have to edit every single pic and from there place it in an album.. right? because i tried to find a way to do it from the album itself, there's no possibility i think.
and if it's the case... whut? srsly? it really would be time for the programmers to implement it, like this would be an incredible, major flaw/fail... even on my ancient prehistoric smartphone 10 years ago, it was possible to add tracks from the playlist, like it makes sense... i can't believe the site has been upgraded again and this wouldn't have been done...
