I don't seem to be getting any notifications about gallery posts. Is this a new thing? Or is something wrong and I"m late to notice?

The site is just totally hosed, Art... Not sure what's going on, but it's just a total train wreck...

Yes, everything will get working again. Some things are already back, some still have glitches. I can only tell you what Admin tells me, which is basically, the techno mages are hard at work getting the power crystals to link with the rising moon during the Gemini eclipse and the inter-dimensional rift will soon be healed.

For those not deep into Star Wars mythos, Kyber crystals are what powered the Death Star's weapon (and also the lightsabers).

I'm getting sick and tired of zero gallery bots for about 6 weeks now why the hell do I put up with this place.

Just my opinion, but I doubt if they're coming back. They are clearly not a priority, it would seem. I appreciate that it takes a lot of work to maintain a site like this, but it would seem like a reasonable thing to expect SOME kind of response on this. It's a simple matter of yes or no.

The gallery bots were a great feature, and an excellent way to stay current. Along with many others, I will miss them. ?

@RodS I'm afraid there's a broken sprocket on our space-time widget machine that creates stable wormholes to allow our ebots to travel through intergalactic dimensions to your mailbox. We're waiting on the part. Here's the tracking map for delivery.

Translation: I checked again, and, yes, they are coming back, there is a Dev working on it. But, I'm sorry, we just don't know when they'll finish rebuilding that feature.

Spam bots killed the ebots... they use a disposable or temporary email address to register and confirm an account... and they clog up the mail server. There's gotta be a way to purge all accounts using a fake email address.

Could someone in an official capacity PLEASE clear the air on this once and for all? Are the gallery bots coming back, or not? If not, it sucks - but it is what it is.. We'll just make do with the 'activity feed.' The ebots worked a lot better for me, but that's just my opinion.

If they are coming back, great! That way, Rick won't have to be my 'ebot!' ???

If you can please, pretty please fix the ebots just so it emails when a vendor I'm following uploads a new product, that would be awesome.

It has happened to me before... I have taken stuff apart so I can work on it... kept it like that for weeks... hoping I'll find where the problem is. Well, the thing is the longer you push it back, the most likely you are to forget of what goes where... or put it back together and have some extra parts left

I think they fell into a black hole somewhere between us and that galaxy far, far away, Barb... They had a big announcement about the bots being back, but they must be in stealth mode... I'd send the Girls out to try and find the bots, but they're a bit preoccupied at the moment! ?

I just posted the following in the forum thread that claims "EBOTS UPDATED!." I've posted 3 or 4 other comments there, but had no response to any of them.

"Apparently no one bothers to even LOOK at the responses here. WHY feed us this line of BS? Seriously? If the ebots are indeed "turned back on," where are they? I have not seen one, and no one else has, either. Read some of the comments in the galleries. Many artists are becoming discouraged with the downturn in visits and comments due to the lack of notifications. These are the same artists who support this site and its vendors in the marketplace. Do we mean so little that it's not worth even responding to?

I realize that with the current pandemic situation people are working remotely, and that many functions of the site are carried out on servers scattered over multiple locations. But could someone at least give us an update.... "Hey we thought things were fixed but we ran into another issue, and we are working on it..." Let us know someone cares."

We're trying to be patient, but as I've mentioned above, many members are becoming discouraged. Give us some hope...

I noticed that it still has a glitch... if you go to the top that noone cares about lol https://www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/gallery/?artists you'll see that all the buttons are Green and it says that you're not following anybody there. I just clicked Follow yesterday on your name RodS and today when I looked again it's the only button that's Red, the one next to your name. It's a software glitch obviously, the ebots are not engaging because they're told noone is following anyone.
