Hello. So far i have done eight re-installs with Poser 12, all having to enter in the serial number back in. I have been assured by the tech people that even if the Poser 12 trial version goes over its 30 day time period, the serial key is still valid and will still give me my full version of Poser. I am sure this applies to new hard drives as well. Hope it helps. Pat :)

Dream9Studios,
Why don't you simply clone the old drive?
Btw, it's time to back-up everything! An easy way is to create a drive or selected partition(s) image(s).
Back-up images can be used to restore it's content to the new drive, as an alternative to cloning.
I've never managed to successfully clone a drive. I always manage to mess something up somewhere along the line and have to start over from scratch so I just start over from scratch to begin with now. LOL
I back up all my important files to externals routinely. :)

My main hard drive that I have Poser 12 installed on is failing. I have a new one on the way and when it gets here I'll have to reinstall everything onto it including Poser 12. Do I need to do anything special in regards to the license like deregister from this current computer configuration or anything? It's the same computer but it will be a different main drive. sometimes that messes with things. I just want to ask now before it's time to do the actual reinstalling when my new drive gets here. Thank you!
