Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 24 4:22 pm)
Yeah no it's still going strong, with a recent update - FCPX. I've used Davinci and didn't really get on with it, spend most time in Adobe Premiere Pro, but yeah FCPX seems to be pretty good tbh, it's already outperforming my CS6 version of Premiere in terms of features and stuff.
I might change my mind about it once I run some more complex edits, but initial tests have been great.

Final Cut Pro? I thought Apple killed that years ago with Quicktime and iTunes. Was also under the impression that most folks used that software from Fairlight, DaVinci Resolve?
I gather you are Trolling sarcasm there.
FCP X is doing just fine and has become quite powerful with the (free) updates Apple threw at it. I notice once again that many of the changes people complained Apple made ended up being copied by the competition. People resist change, even when it is good for them. Do you really miss floppy disks and P/S 2 connections for your keyboard and mouse?
Watching this with interest.
I'm sure my horoscope was mistaken when it assured me I would be mugged in a dark alley by a group of former friends, and actually meant that I would be gifted a new Apple Silicon powered Mac during this calendar year :winking:
Verbosity: Profusely promulgating Graham's number epics of complete and utter verbiage by the metric monkey barrel.

Because of my digital comms job and huge reliance on video rendering, my work has recently bought me an Apple M1 laptop ~ so I thought I'd share my findings.
I'm comparing non-native Poser 11 on a new Apple M1 laptop, vs Poser 11 on a huge 32-core HP Xeon workstation; I thought I'd share my findings as (1) lots of people will be wondering about Apple Silicon, or at least GPU vs CPU, and (2) I am procrastinating from my actual work!!! Anyway, here's what I've found:
I hardly ever update my Poser gallery, but if you're interested in my occasional CG work - I did this video a few years back: Youtube link (that's all Firefly, for the cartoony look)
