Subject: Previous Versions of Poser?

Win7 64 bit user, I was wondering if there is a way to get the install files for my P8 pro 2010, P9, and P10 I know I'm slightly nerdy/ocd about this, but I just accept it. I have super old copies of p8 pro, and I think p9, but the folder where the p10 files 'should' be is totally empty and the smith micro download manager...well..you know

ps is there a way to unify/validate all of my poser serials yet? The shift happened long ago enough that really should be the case.

I think Structure has them on Dropbox. Hopefully he'll be by and post the links. You can try searching the forum for them if you can't wait. You'll need the service releases as well.

And there may be some issues getting them to run now that Flash is no more.

Yeah, I tried the poser.ini edit fix and my p pro 2010 still said there was a fault detected, kinda hard to use poser without a library

I was wondering if a 3rd party library manager would work, I can't remember his name, he did the Poser File Editor thing, but I due to my antipathy for anything adobe, I'd spend money on a working library...

The thread with the poser.ini fix also has some discussion of 3rd party library managers. I think there's at least one that's free.

I used to beta for rdna, and went diving into the folder of goodies and lo and behold I did indeed have semidieu's file manager and it does in fact work in poser pro 2010, yay. It has known issues but those are specific to the limits of poserpython and not the author's awesome hard work. I think I'm going to learn poser python, there is clearly a need, which is in the ballpark of my resolution this year to learn to model in blender.
