Sorry if there's a tutorial on this already but this site can be slow at times, especially on a dial-up and searching it can be a pain ;p I'm using PSP7 and I'm just wondering how bump maps for any Poser object are created. Any special techniques? Sorry if this is more of a PSP7 question. JoeBlack

theres no real way of doing it,take your tex map and turn it to greyscale, then edit it to where you want the skin or what ever to look wrinkled or whatever, then load it and check it out,you may need to go back to edit it multiple times the best way really is to download a quality tex with bump included either free or a for-sale item, look at it and load the tex withit and without it compare them in jasc, see what the artist did to make the tex reflect what the bumps are doing and visa versa finally just experiment, take a cube or sphere and make tex maps for it,let poser convert them to bum files and see where it takes you, jasc doesnt read bum files, mayebe photo shop does,im not sure but this is what little i know about them, and if all else fails ignore my advice and seek out a pro to help,i dont think they give you everything you need to know but all the ones who are still here im sure wil be happy to let you in on the basics ...........cheers!(now i forgot what i really came here to do......hmmmmmm)
