My point is that Poser 12 is actually quite useful for multiple figure systems, once you can get the import step worked out. My usual route is using FBX, if the figure is already rigged. If not, I can rig it manually inside Poser, or use Mixamo or other rigging methods. I also did the Microsoft Avatars import and the Genesis 8.1 with animation, into Poser.

The reason why I have to manually apply materials for my Vroid is because FBX does not always carry along textures with it. In the case of exports of Genesis 8x from DS, I can get the textures going along. The Microsoft Avatars and MakeHuman figures and native Mixamo characters have textures which come along with them.

Excellent!

I created the character and hair in Vroid Studio. I painted the T-shirt in Vroid Studio. I imported the VRM file from Vroid Studio in Blender3D and exported as FBX. I imported the resulting FBX file into Poser 12. I manually applied the VRM textures in Poser Material Room, and added SSS. I rendered using SuperFly.
