I've noticed that if a second layer holds a Cycles-based mat setup that involves transparency, Poser doesn't manage very well.
Example here: the main character is "EZSkinned". If I add a second layer such as described:
And if I zoom out far enough, the top disappears from the preview, but still renders correctly (we can notice that only her chest has the second layer)

I do everything with Superfly mats so I don't notice. Both of these use a second layer.
I don't know what it depends on but here: Danae's own Lyon's "Simple texture", with a very simple second layer on the torso (which is shown on the left):

Anyone else get this in preview mode when using a layer? Before applying layer, After applying layer,
Renders are unaffected,
or is it only my setup?

I use Poser 12.0.757, 11.3 and or 2014, on Win10 64bit.
