I wanted to send a render to another computer using the queue manager. I've done it many times in poser 11, but it's been a while. Now I'm using Poser 12. I recently installed version 12.0.484 and I installed queue manager on the other computer. I made sure the queue renderer on the poser computer was set to send jobs to network and the rendering computer was set to accept jobs from network. Everything is version to 12.0.484. But it's not rendering. Did I miss something?

Is the Queue Manager the same as that bundled with P12? The QM build should be 12.0.484 just like P12. Either download it again and reinstall or put in a ticket. I haven't tested the network rendering for some time so I wouldn't know if something has gone wrong.

On the slave, do you see discovery query from 192.168.1.100 in the bottom of the Queue window? That would indicate that the slave "sees" the master PC on your network.

On the master PC, do you see available message from 192.168.1.143 in the bottom of the Queue window? That would indicate that the master sees the slave on the network.

Check firewall permissions on both computers. On the master, verify that Poser, Queue, and FFRender64 have in/out permissions. On the slave, Queue and FFRender64 need permissions.

May we have a forum specifically for network rendering ? It is such a powerful tool, yet beset by Windows' and other vagaries...
