I'm trying to post this the third time, as I was given an error message twice (Sorry! Invalid request. This event has been logged').

I purchased Ken1171_Design's Skin Edit for P12. It turned out when I bought it it wasn't actually supposed to be on the marketplace yet, so I got a delayed drop into my Purchases here on the site about a day after payment. That's when the real trouble started.

I tried to install it via the Install from Zip file menu in Poser 12. It went as usual, but when I tried to open the script from the menu, it asked me to log into Renderosity via the Purchases tab to authenticate the purchase. Now I never been asked that with my purchases installed this way. Not once; so that was already weird. But I said 'okay, why not' and clicked on the Purchases tab and I selected the 'Renderosity' radio button and I used my password I use every day to log here.

And the password was not accepted. The window got presented again. And again,. And again. Endlessly, like a demented grandpa offering me the same empty glass over and over again instead of the lemonade I made.

I closed Poser, opened it again. Tried again. And again.

I went to Renderosity. I reset my password. I reopened Poser. Nothing.

I reinstalled Poser, completely. Nothing.

I opened my Avast firewall. Poser was an allowed app. I reset it, set the rule again. Nothing.

Someone please help me so I can use the script I bought please? Thank you.

Ok. We set a new password for you and then used your username and that password to login to poser. It worked as expected. Since we changed it on your account you will need to reset it...you can set it to the same one you had before and then try logging in again please?

Jenn, I am sorry, but that doesn't work either. I logged out of Rendo in a browser. I reset my password in a browser. I logged in fine in a browser. I went to Poser 12. Opened LIbrary. Went to Purchases tab. Clicked on Renderosity radio button. Tried to login with password I JUST reset in browser.

Same result. The login window empties and it's presented again.

As I said, I never had this issue with anything else I installed with the Install from Zip archive, but at the same time, the Renderosity radio button login never worked for me either. I already installed Poser again and I'm on version 12.0.500? As I also said, my virus protection and firewall has Poser.exe set as allowed as well.

I'd love to use this script and support the vendor. Any other way this can be resolved, please?

I think I found the issue, guys.

When I log in here, I have to put in my full email address as my login name. But when I log in from the purchases tab, it insists on login name being WITHOUT the @whatever dot com.

I have NO idea why that is like that. Thanks for the help. You can close this out now. :)

ok thank you. I do not use my full email address to login here..so I never thought about that. Thank you for letting me know so I will know for future issues. ๐Ÿ˜„

You never know. I'm literally the difficult case with every issue I have--infamous for our IT support at work. :)
