Subject: EMERGENCY ANY IT MAN ARTISTS HERE

atpo ( ) posted Mon, 21 June 2021 at 7:55 PM · edited Sun, 24 November 2024 at 8:35 PM

Excuse me! I want to know any IT man artists here? Please help check whether it is virus or display damage? I've got half white and half normal. And I've read about "white screen virus", which if you don't mind, you should read, too. I use hitman and malwarebytes to check but it is again. Hope anyone can help. Thanks and good health.htmnsUntitled 1.jpgf8falsd.jpgmala.jpg

Do you have a static IP address ... If this is a virus they could have an auto reload so the anti-virus scan wouldn't be enough. Surprisingly MS's built in system security is pretty good so turn that on and put at a higher level security (you can look up the process on Microsoft's site). If that doesn't work look up diagnostics for your graphics card and run that. Good luck!

You will probably need professional help. If your system is infected, I would think that you should reinstall your system and transfer old data very carefully.

You can try to boot with a live Linux system to see if your screen is damaged, there are a couple of this around. They work without installation, so you won't loose your data. Still I would suggest you get professional help. Without access to your computer, Also, Windows 7 is outdated and should no longer be used.

It does look like you will need professional help and agree with bantha Windows 7 is no longer getting any security updates from Microsoft it has reached its end of life cycle for support

If you still can choose would boot into Windows 7 but that in the long run will not resolve the issue of the ransom ware if you can save your recovered documents from Windows 7 onto some sort of external hard drive then ttry but still recommend that you up date to new operating system of you will continue to experience other ransom ware attacks

Feeling sorry for this Atpo.
btw A tip about Ransomeware that is worth was it is.
I have suscribed to a channel dedicated to security and the guy was saying that with W10 ransomeware have hard time crypting documents in your personnal documents folders. The trick is to create and use and account without administrative rights and store your data in your personnal documents. Hence if you catch a virus your data could be safe.
