Subject: Untriangulating and decimating?

This started out as tris. Trying to make it nice neat squares without manually deleting individual verts.

anyone know the magic operation?

i making a u hook, 1/4 thick, 3d printer at work, they gonna drill and tap it to a thingee.

offset surface has an exact measure, but it doesnt ask for axis. what do you use offset surface to do?

okay. see i needed to select the scale tool to activate more dialog in the model tab

the default grid is 12feet

honestly, it would be easier starting over with a grid the dimensions and divisions you want and using a bend modifier (there are modifiers in vertex room as well as the Ass room)
