i peeve, when hiding a wall takes out a chunk of floor or ceiling. the floor i throw down a lil plane to be a rug, ceiling harder to camouflage a big tri poly gap.

I am grumpy, hair sim took 2 hours, was perfect, used a V4 hair cap product on genesis, saved it, open my project and it replaced it with a bloody cube!

if you have content you are not supposed to have due to it being accidently included by a PA or someone who stuffed up, DIM will remove it if they know of the error, it has happened to me

this makes me think rather paranoidly that those people are NOT mistaken, DAZ just doesn't want us to know what permissions our computers are giving to DIM?

Maybe Zone Alarm Antivirus they advise us not to use is actually flagging something, just saying...

i would never use a download manager. i need to know exactly where something i'm installing is going. i never leave folder named after vendors.

I wonder whether you are on to something there Misty after seeing that thread where products were remotely removed from peoples libraries. ?

DIM is a dog's breakfast where stuff is installed, I frequently clean up nested folders afterwards and sometimes break smart content compatibility. More often it is Poser content though (mostly RDNA stuff) I need to fix, still have stuff I cannot find.

Sorry to be late to the game here. Are you referring to looking at your DIM list of installed content and you see items in a faded font? I went to my product library and re-downloaded, first trying via DIM. I still get the greyed out text. But if I manually install it to the library (I keep all my zips on an external....whew) then the product showed up. I lost all my Genesis 2 starter essentials that way. Maybe it was because I bought a converter from DAZ for going to G3? I don't know enough to have an opinion.

MISTY... when did you pull your products for Ge and G8.1 ??? I will have to change my sig line if you are not offering them any longer. I am so glad I have them and appreciate all the work you did. I hope after at least the first cataract is done next week that my vision will improve.

I use Janette and Johnathon exclusively Well Janette anyways. One of my best purchases ever. I've modified her to make her anatomically correct in Studio using the geometry editor. No more problems with the uv's in Carrara. Still a work in progress, i'm having some problems with pose controls from 3DU's Pose Architect. Some work, some don't. But thank you for the awesome presets Misty
