Subject: DSON Importer broken after upgrading from Poser 10 to Poser 11

I was wondering if the DAZ dragon needs to be in the same folder as Zilladreki, but End of Summer Hair doesn't work either. Basically anything using DSON is toast. Do I need to re-install DSON? I remember how easy it is to F it up, or it was tricky to set up. There was a tutorial by John Q. Public once. DSON BROKEN.png

Did you reinstall DSON into P11? It works perfectly for me and DSON was originally installed into PP2014. You do need to duplicate the app into each version of Poser you want to run it in.

Thanks, Hborre, I'm doing that now. Just as I suspected. It's been awhile since a new version of Poser. Lemony fresh victory is mine! Thanks!lemony fresh victory is mine.png

I just bought a copy of Poser 11 and upgraded to 11.3. I was adding base characters to Poser, such as Victoria 3 thru 6, Michael 3 thru 6 and a few other such as Dawn, Aiko, etc. But now when I try to open certain bae versions, I get a DSON error, same as listed above. Doesn't Poser come with DSON?

No, you need to install DSON after you installed Poser, and into each version of Poser separately, like it's said above, the way I understand it. I never used it myself, too much bloat.

Victoria/Michael 5 and 6 require DSON to be imported into Poser. And as a matter of additional information, you need both the DAZ Core Files and Poser Core Files for it to successfully work. Dawn comes in both DS and Poser flavors, so DSON is not needed. The only place to get the DSON importer is DAZ3D.
