I read from the Poser 12 latest description that SuperFly now has a shadow-catcher function.

I can't seem to locate the shadow-catcher on my SuperFly tab.

I am using Poser version 12.0.703

The only shadow catcher option I've seen is on the classic PoserSurface node, and indeed: it also works with Superfly

I was hoping there was something new that would work with the Cycles Root Surface, because those types of shaders are what I use. Looks like I'm out of luck.

Oh well, then: for a Cycles-based solution, you may use Snarly's one, which you can get by using his EZDome 1.7: it has an EZCatcher that's Cycles-based.

gqz4eUB9gxRCe4JWcC8Rg6z3abtG4wpSkxzoFqBv.pngThank you for the information.  I did try the Poser Root Surface's Catch Shadow Only, and rendered using SuperFly. I only used an HDRI 360 backgroud as illumination source, no Poser lights.  It works !
