I'm hoping someone can help clear up some confusion in what's left of my mind...

I once got my hands gently slapped for having a Patreon logo incorporated into my signature I place on artwork I upload. It was NOT a link, just a logo. Being the good boy I am (mostly), I fixed it and re-uploded it.

Lately, I have noticed things like folks promoting books they have for sale on Amazon, and have recently noticed at least one person placing clearly visible Patreon logos on their artwork. I'm not mentioning names; it is not my intent to create problems for anyone. I just want to know what is OK, and what is not.

I know that "live" links to "competing sites" are not allowed, and I understand why. But is someone going to spill their bowl of cornflakes if I put a small Patreon / Ko-Fi logo and / or my name on those sites on my graphic signature on my artwork uploads?

You can give your Patrion username (so people can go there and look for you), but you can't put the URL or a link to it.

I saw that and I've reported the breach of TOS... Why do I even bother with this shit? I don't work for these ppl! They don't give a rat's ass... I'm not reporting anything anymore from now on.
