Terms and Conditions
Renderosity Gift Certificates can be used towards the purchase of any product currently available in the Renderosity MarketPlace.
If the purchase amount is less than the available Gift Certificate amount the remaining balance will be calculated and will be available for future purchases.
If the purchase amount exceeds the available Gift Certificate amount you can pay the remaining balance with any of our supported payment methods.
Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed for cash and have zero cash value.
Gift Certificates are non-transferable.
Renderosity is not responsible for the misuse of Gift Certificate codes.
Gift Certificates may be purchased for any Renderosity member.
Gift Certificates can only be used by the Gift Certificate recipient.
Gift Certificates cannot be used to purchase additional Gift Certificates.
Renderosity reserves the right to change or discontinue any Gift Certificate at any time.
Only one Gift Certificate can be redeemed per order.
Gift Certificate recipients will be notified by an automated E-Mail.
Gift Certificates expire 2 years after the purchase date.
Refund requests for Gift Certificates are only valid for 7 days after the purchase date.
Refunds cannot be made on purchases of Gift Certificates once they have been used.
Refunds for products purchased with a Gift Certificate will be issued in the form of a new Gift Certificate. The new Gift Certificate will be issued for the exact amount of the refund only.

Thank you ShaniaB - a 2 year validity is fine for me. However, I think it should be stated up front on the description tab of each Marketplace Gift Certificate.We'll have that link fixed soon.

I've also just noticed that the terms and conditions (or to be more precise an 404 error page) are actually linked from the Editorial tab of most Marketplace Gift Certificates thusly "Please review the Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions located here."
I say most because the $5 gift certificate description is empty and its editorial tab just says "Gift Certificates are easy to purchase!" and nothing else.
May I suggest that you get somebody to check the Description/Editorial tabs of each value Marketplace Gift Certificate ?

Please note the second sentence of my original enquiry. There is very little information about those other Gift Certificates bought with reward points. All I can find is this.Do normal Renderosity gift certificates, by which I mean these ones bought with real cash at the Marketplace, expire ?
I'm actually trying to find out what the differences are between gift certificates bought with real cash and the the gift certificates bought with reward points.
"A real, bona fide gift certificate from Renderosity. Use it to purchase products in our Marketplace. This one is worth $5/10/50 on any Renderosity purchase in the next 30 days."
So are these identical to to the Marketplace-bought Gift Certificates except for that 30-day validity ?
