Someone have used this tool i just see it  on Poser 12 site.Is really use to import some DazStudio content  in Poser 12 ?
DUF Prop Converter for Poser 12

https://www.posersoftware.com/store/products/84

'' This tool allows converting DAZ Studio 4 DUF Figures and Props to Poser native PP2 prop format using a simple drag and drop operation. This allows importing things like hair and props from DS4, as well as DUF Material presets, and use then in Poser. Props can be loaded directly into your Poser scene, or saved directly to your Poser library, or both! You have the option to Auto-Parent the prop to the currently selected actor. Then drag & drop existing DUF Material presets to apply them to the imported prop in Poser.

Link your DAZ Studio 4 Runtime folder as an external runtime in Poser, and REUSE all textures without having to move or duplicate them, saving time and disk space. ''

I use the tool frequently, so yes, it does work.

With poses? How?

No, it does not work with poses. As the title says, it is a converter for props.
As you know, poses are for the characters, props are items in the scene. They work differently and cannot be converted with the same script.

There is another script for converting poses, https://www.renderosity.com/rr/mod/bcs/duf-pose-converter-for-poser-12/152558/

Cool thanks I was hoping it wasn't just me being optimistic about two separate forms of pose Mat pz2 vs Pose pz2

Mat pz2s should have died off a decade ago.  They were a hack for Poser 4.

There was a free script that worked in P11 that converted the MATPose files to MT5/MC6 files.  IIRC, it was a simple internal name change and conversion to the new Library format.

I use Batch Material Convert by Netherworks - entire directories converted in 1 shot.
