Is there a setting Poser pro 11-12 for setting the GPU for rendering? Cheers

your GPUs will show up in the render options and you can choose what to use for rendering. I use my newer RTX card for rendering and my older card for running the monitor. I could use both if I wanted but then I wouldn't be able to do anything else on my computer during a render.

It's something that intrigues me: "not being able to do anything else".
I mean: yesterday night, I was computing, using the GPU, a scene with a 8k HDRi. Need I to say that my GPU's RAM was almost full (11Gb) but sill I was able to smoothly look at vid's, or follow an online talk, sometimes the three at the same time.
I mean: your video card is definitely newer recent than mine

Poser 12 is required for GPU rendering on newer graphics cards.

Turing: 16xx and 20xx

Ampere: 30xx

Was added to Poser 12 according to this post, which also shows how to choose your supported GPU:

Poser 11.3 (latest update) added support for

Turing: 16xx and 20xx

GPU rendering in SuperFly, previous versions did not support Turing GPUs. No idea about Ampere in Poser 11, guessing not supported.

YMMV, but good graphics cards may tolerate much higher Superfly progressive 'vols & buckets' than running 'CPU-Only'...

Could take some experimentation to find 'sweet spot'... And how complex a scene before you gotta ease those back.

NikKelly is right: with my 11Gb video card, I've found that a bucket size of 512 is ok.

Ampere is not supported by Poser 11, but it is by Poser 12.
