I think they caught it pretty early. My doctor tells me they can treat it with a shot and a pill. So no chemo. I went in this morning for my first shot. Found out they have to give it to you in your bottom.Damn.

Okay, I believe I've found out why the Directory isn't working.
I've already decided not to renew the registration, so as of now, the Directory is officially closed.
First, best wishes for your health, hope things go well with you.
On the signature, what I'm seeing is you go to your profile. Then you choose the "Forums" section in "My Settings." There is a Signature field that should show your link. I think all you have to do is delete the link in that field and then click Save Changes.
Yes, that's often how I find items from a site that's no longer active at the original location, or in your case, gone for good.

I just spent a month in the hospital and found out I have Prostate Cancer. I had already though about closing the Poser Directory by the end of this year anyway, and now, I'm certain that it will happen. I can't name a specific date, but it will be very soon.
