Subject: Changing companies

I do not know where to start or figure this out. Purchased a new PC and needing to move my purchased Poser 11 to this new computer. Poser 11 not with Smithmicro anymore? Logged in to this new site, and doesn't recognize my email. I am like "Oh no! What do I do now?" How many companies has Poser moved around to? I do have license number, and what now to install? This can be a problem if a software keeps moving around and customer has license to move to other computer because of break downs or upgrading. This can be frustrating. Please help....someone?

If you have not upgraded Poser since it was with Smith Micro, you need to download the free upgrade. Smith Micro turned their Poser license server off, so there's no longer any way to install their version.

Have you tried downloading the new version of Poser 11?

If you can't, put in a support ticket. I was able to use my old serial number to upgrade, but that was a long time ago.

Ok, thanks. Wow!

Downloading is not a problem and the serial number should be on file with Bondware, all those records were transferred to the Bondware servers.  If you have problems reinitiating your license on the new computer then contact tech support.  If you had separate runtime folders set up on your old computer, those could be transferred intact to your new system and reimported to your software.  However, if the additional content happens to reside within the main Poser runtime then I recommend a fresh reinstallation.

Yeah, went to site to remove, then activate to a new PC. Couldn't log in and my credentials are gone. I have other purchased software, that when moving to other PC, you have to log in to remove license from a PC, then apply to new PC. Seems to be the thing now a days. Got it installed and license went through (activation). All okay now.

What is the latest version. I have installed 11.3, and I get message, their is an updated version. But unable to find the website I get linked to in Poser

The latest version is 11.3.818.  If this is not your current version, go back to Posersoftware.com, click on Downloads and go down the page to Downloads - Poser 11.  You will need to enter your SN to validate your license.  Latest P11 software and content will be listed.

Don't forget to check out the content Bondware has added. There's a ton of free stuff now included with Poser, that wasn't included when it was a Smith Micro product. It's in separate downloads from the main program.
