Subject: Superfly Transmapped Hair Mat settings.with closed module

I saw it one time, a few weeks ago in one of Poser's forum, it was a "recipe" for using transparency mapping within Superfly with a "closed" module. Please tell me I didn't imagine it.

Just a link to the post or forum will suffice.

Thanks!

If I'm understanding what you mean, I think you are talking about limiting the number of transparent bounces while not getting the "black error" bits in the hair when it reaches the end of the transparency bounces?

No, it was a screenshot of the mat room setup for us8ng transparency within the hair mat ( I think it was a cycle setup) Very elegant.. .it was a simple setup.

My only other guess about this is you might have seen something with a "combined" node where all the guts of the shader where inside the collapsed node and the trans map was on the outside. This is how I do my own hair shader.

Could you please share that? The more method available to me, the better, I'll be in the MAT room. Cycle  or Physical .

TIA
