Er... possibly foolish question, but was the tail selected before creating the magnet? Might it be parented to another body part instead, by mistake?

Are you sure that the Zone is surrounding the area you want to deform? Sometimes it is hard to tell using the default circle. If you set the element style for the Zone to "Wireframe" it really helps give you a better 3D view of the area affected by the magnet. Whenever I have a magnet behaving strangely, I always look to the zone first.

Can anyone tell me why a magnet wouldn't deform a mesh? I've been trying to make some tail morphs for the killer whale, but the magnet has no effect at all. I've checked to make sure all the bodyparts were included in the magnet, and the dials are set to 1.000, but still no luck. Anybody care to take a stab at this one?
