Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 18 10:25 pm)
Well, uhhh, than you'll probably not be bothered at all by the fact that Daz3D unimesh isn't the same thing as Poser Unimesh support.Uhhh, I'm not too bothered by no Daz3D Unimesh support. Not bothered by that at all.
I'd like to see Poser cameras, both sharpen and zoom.Just repeating this to emphasise what I hope the Devs will see: Add several lense options for the cameras so that I can try equirectangular renders, for example. In that case, may as well let us export in multi-EV HDRI as well.
Oh, it is allowed. Sorry. Please allow us to import HDR format into Envrionment Texture node for Background shader.

At least there is a script that allows instancing that which works seems to work as required.I really hope devs would add instances someday. Without instancing its impossible to render big high quality nature\forest scenes.
And Color management like in Blender, without it its sometimes hard to render interior which has indirect light sources
I use Poser 13 on Windows 11 - For Scene set up I use a Geekcom A5 - Ryzen 9 5900HX, with 64 gig ram and 3 TB storage, mini PC with final rendering done on normal sized desktop using an AMD Ryzen Threadipper 1950X CPU, Corsair Hydro H100i CPU cooler, 3XS EVGA GTX 1080i SC with 11g Ram, 4 X 16gig Corsair DDR4 Ram and a Corsair RM 100 PSU . The desktop is in a remote location with rendering done via Queue Manager which gives me a clearer desktop and quieter computer room.

I read this little article with an image rendered using beta version Poser13. My reaction is: Okayyyy, but could you add several lense options for the cameras so that I can try equirectangular renders, for example. In that case, may as well let us export in muti-EV HDRI as well.
The other effects like bloom and gamma and blah blah control are certainly good to have, albeit slightly more of a catch-up feature set than cutting edge.
