OK DSON is a Daz product and they only supported DSON up to Poser 11 and it can't be installed Poser 12 or 13 because DAZ has not updated the installer I know Daz has a Blender bridge plugin to send things from Daz to Blender at the moment Poser and Blender support importing between each using the following file formats OBJ, FBX, DAE (collada) and Alembic. FBX will be perhaps your best bet to get Textures and Rigging between Poser and Blender as to organizing or importing or capturing whole directories that currently is not possible since the File directories between Poser and Blender are not the same and between Daz DSON and Poser use to share similarities which is no longer the case since Daz directories have become a bit more complex. I know many Poser and Daz artist are using Blender for either creating content rendering and such but I would need a bit more of what you are trying to accomplish to see if I can give you a more constructive answer or point you in a direction where you can find a workflow that can help you.

As Lobo3433 stated, the last known version to support DSON is Poser 11. The best trick to use DSON characters in P12 and P13 is to save them back to the Library as new CR2 figures thus creating new OBJ files in the process. In this way, you break the DSON chain and be able to import a poseable Genesis figure. You will probably need to keep track of where the OBJ files are stored for a successful import.
Do let us know if we can help we have some very knowledgeable members here who are always willing to help

It isn't just the installer - if it were one could lie and say the Poser 12 or 13 applications were Poser 11 for the purpose of instalaltion. The problem is that Poser 12+ has an updated version of Python which means compiled Python scripts will no longer run. Genesis 3+ were not supported in Poser even in the versions that could use the importer due to the required Dual Quaternion skin binding's not being avaialble: some people could get acceptable results by dropping down to the older methods but this was not the full version of the figues and not supported by Daz, and i would assume (not the official word or knowledge) that that is why the script was not reworked and recompiled - in any event, whatever the reason, that is why the DSON Importer cannot be installed to Poser 12+.OK DSON is a Daz product and they only supported DSON up to Poser 11 and it can't be installed Poser 12 or 13 because DAZ has not updated the installer
I know about the updated version of Python in Poser 12 and 13 and a big reasoning for that is the vast improvements made in SuperFly which is based on Cycles as to DSON from personal experience I never could get it to work properly in any earlier version that it was suppose to support and that is not knocking it I know some who made it work I just stated that the installer is not compatible with Poser 12 or 13 and since that is a Daz product all I could offer was the best explanation I had based information available to me.Lobo3433 posted at 3:03 PM Sun, 30 April 2023 - #4463851

Google "Diffeomorphic Daz Importer version 1.7.0 released"
You may want to learn how to use MustardUI as well, it is a huge time saver in Blender and works with Diffeomorphic.
Poser rigging will not work in Blender.
Some things are easy to explain, other things are not........ <- Store -> <-Freebies->
I am still working within Poser 11 (even though I own 12) and need to take about 10 poser models with a combination of Daz 3D DSON and Poser materials and objects added and rigged in Blender for basic posing. They are fitted clothes (often not well).
I will need someone to do the conversion (work) for me. The problem is directories are all over the place.
I can work with Blender and Poser, but I prefer Blender because I have been learning it much more.
I want to get on with the work I need to do as fluid as possible and this would be a major help.
I don't even know where to start asking about who can do this. So I am asking here. :)

So a few years ago, I used DSON importer for Daz 3D and Poser 11. I created sets of characters, and these were to be used for models for a Paint app. No animation. I got Poser 12 not long ago and have used it for posing but not for DSON. I got around to needing DSON again and well basically I understand now that DSON appears discontinued for Poser 12.
I am not really that worried because I have been thinking of modeling again in Blender. I think it's probably standard that a lot of Poser users do this, also.
What would be the best way to get my characters within Poser 12 with all the DSON imports (there are like dozens of directories scattered around several drives because of how many resources I used) into Blender? It would be great if Blender could somehow capture everything under one subdirectory also. I want to be able to pose in Blender with the Poser character rigs if possible.
I'll still use Poser for things. It is an easy way to see if I want to spend more time modeling something for a scene.
Thanks.
