Are there other poses that I can add to his repertoire for an illustrated story?

Many poses can be used from other figures with a small amount of tweaking. Others would need more adjustments. Kate, Jessi, and James would probably be closest.

I would have thought the Unversal Poses might work for all the humanoid figures provided with Poser defalt content, but soetweaking would be required.

Universal Poses was discontinued after Poser Pro 2014.  Netherworks Posewriter in Poser 11 is a better option than applying a non-compatible pose directly from the Library.  However, tweaking is still needed especially the hands and feet.
