I finally decide to use the special  summer  2023 discount (597 $ for  five years subcription) for new Creator edition of Vue, plus plants catalogue and plants factory.

I like now  what i see from this new version versus my old Vue infinite 2016 And using the key received i can ( surprise for me!) use and load all the stuff i had from Vue first version to Vue infinite 2016 ( athmospheres,plants.objets. scenes etc including obj and collada scenes and objets i have exported from DAZStudio and saved in Vue infinite 2016

Should be faster to render, too. Also, Vue still works fine with importing Poser 11 scenes, and also P12 and P13 provided you also have P11 installed. But be aware that your new Vue may not know how to render the very latest Poser 12 SuperFly materials (the sort which use strange funky new Cycles nodes).

With your version of Vue you can also export (inc. Poser scenes) to the latest versions of 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, Maya, Lightwave, and also various flavours of VR.

Yes, you do.  There's a guide to that at the back of the long ten-page Poser 12 install-guide / review in Digital Art Live magazine #71 (August 2022), where there's also two pages on Vue and Poser.

Here are the relevant bits. You do the usual (i.e. tell the Vue 'Poser import SDK' where the Poser 11 .exe is), and then also...

"... tell the Poser 11 Library where your Poser 12 runtime is.  If that new runtime is large then give the Library time to index it — the ongoing indexing is indicated by the pulsing yellow icon in the top right of the Library.  With Poser 11 installed, and told about the Poser 12 runtime location, a saved Poser scene containing content located in your new Poser 12 runtime (e.g. the cute 'Pink 2.0' mini- monster) will successfully import to Vue."

"... but the requirement to also have Poser 11 installed suggests the obvious course of action.  Ideally build your scene in Poser 11.x, if Vue is your target.  Since most of the advantages of Poser 12 are in rendering and the UI, you won‘t be missing much if you only intend to render your masterpiece in Vue.  By only using the Poser 11 runtime you may also avoid small unknown inconsistencies in material auto-conversion."

All this assumes you have P12 or P13. You don't actually need these, as P11 alone will suffice - provided you don't want to use P12/13 specific content. By the way, if you don't have it yet, then the best price on Poser 11 is now NeoWin at $80.
