This Information does not seem to be quiet right, Unless that La Femme 2 would be the promised simple skin aka Unimesh figure that was annulated due a delay on the Poser 13 startup, In combination with a new setup room system for easy Creations. The surprise Figure was actually canceled that would of been the first Poser figure Based on Simple skinning ( Unimesh ) that was supposed to be Included in the P13 Launch ....

A key goal for this release has been to simplify content creation for Poser by supporting single-mesh figures that remain in memory and are not broken into smaller segments internally by the software (aka unimesh). We are still working toward that goal but, with this release, we are proud to announce the delivery of updated tools for content developers that greatly simplify common tasks such as the creation of conforming clothing for Poser figures. This focus on tools that streamline content creation will be an on-going theme for Poser development going forward.
I do not think that the new release of La Femme 2 has anything to do with the Op Question and it would be misleading pointing at LF2 for the updated creation tools! They might be comming out on the Promised Update end of the month 13.1 but as it seems no one has mentioned all these plans any further.

We are happy to report that an exciting new figure is in the works for Poser 13 and will arrive soon with delivery accelerated by the new content creator tools. Watch the PoserSoftware newsletter in coming weeks for related announcements.
New Content Creator Tools do not seem to be included until now in P13 and seem to be still a incomming update unless I could not find Them so someone could point on where they are in Poser 13
I don't have any inside information, but "Completely redone rig" and "Tools to help you use or convert" could both be relevant to your comments.
Personally I'll wait and see. In any case, my hesitancy about LF was never about technology, it was about design and about the quality of available content.
From what I have read LF2 is supported by 11+ so does not seem to be any new tech or Poser 13 creation tools . Tools to convert are rather simply based on the figure it self basically do not have anything in common for creations . allot of figures in the past came with such helper tools. But yes we will see what LF2 will be bringing with her and if these tools are more then just converting LF1.2 things to 2, or also supporting content from V4 to be converted with ease, but that is rather questionable. Else there will still be the old poser included methods but more for rigging experts.
I was very exited about the announcements of new Poser 13 creation tools at the beginning but lost hope about these in the meantime, to many misleading announcements and promises. Could be a good thing for creators but for now , the way things sounds, only the litte insider team has access to these new tools if LF2 would be based on this all new content creation system.
Wait and see what they come up with end of this month :)
I believe they made it clear near the release of P13 that the Unimesh tech was postponed indefinitely. They couldn't make it work in time.
The new content creator tools, AFAIK, are about the greatly improved Copy Joints and Copy Morphs in P13. Those are a godsend to rig clothes and to transfer all morphs in, they require very little fixing now from what I've seen so far. And those are already in the current, released P13.
Edit: (and of course, enhanced/less buggy/more reliable creation tools all across, plus the new version of Superfly that makes much neater and faster renders, also skin can now look much more real with less effort and node noodle work.)

hah I feel dumb for asking but those images and the animation, are those LF2?Yes, see here:

That was the original intent, but as Unimesh couuldn't make it for the P13 release, we made LF2 non-Unimesh. That means P11+ can run her fine.Hmm, I was assuming the reason that Renderosity was pushing people to get onto 13 with that upgrade offer from 11 was that LF2 would be 13+ only. But if the Unimesh support isnt a thing yet, I suppose not

There will be two versions. One will ship with Poser 13 and the other will be a Pro pack with more stuff included.
