How do you delete body parts in Poser Pro 11?

I want to know how do you delete body part or is making not visible the only option?

You need to elaborate further on why you want to delete a body part.  If it is to control a poke through then making the offending body part invisible is the practical advice.  Deleting a body part will completely disrupt the rigging and material zones of the figure.

I'm trying to add a different figure's body part to another figure but I don't want the figure's old body part to show up in the list even if it's not visible. How do I delete it and will it totally mess up the character's rigging process?

I would say that it is not possible in Poser.  Attempting it will completely mess up the rigging especially if the mesh between the two figures is totally different.  Not knowing exactly what you want to exchange, would simply creating a morph of the body part be easier?

Exchanging body parts in Poser is handled by either conforming or parenting an object to the figure.  Those original body parts are turning invisible or not visible to the rendering camera but are not entirely replaced.  You will still have 2 separate entities to pose and texture.

Something I've assembled long ago, hiding the unused parts, parenting the "toy" to Handy's hip:

Sometimes, the Morphing tool can help you "move" some parts so that the corresponding body remains intact.
