my Sony Mavica CD1000 is an amazing camera, allowing me to get within an inch of the subject, so close that i have to watch i don't block my own light.

The images are very well composed. The rose ones are almost abstract in visual content. Digital cameras really shine in this area. The ability to see composition and texture give us a chance to get results that are beyond just "pretty pictures".

i'm amazed at the detail picked up in these photos. i shot the pictures at max resolution and density and then sized them for the Forum here. i'm glad they came thru so well.
