Subject: Why was Comment at Vendor of Month sent to a Moderator?

Just curious is all.  Seldom post at forums here-- waiting for render to finish up.

So what would be objectionable about my typing "congrads, great products, etc.etc." ?   They're worried about trolling or social media 'street teams' spamming the replies?

As said, just curious. Not complaining about it. : )

I assume you're referring to leaving a comment on the announcement/interview article. All comments on an article page have to be approved before it will appear, even mine.

Hmmm.  I wonder why.  Anyway I'm sure they have their reasons.  Thanks for taking time to reply

Unfortunately there have been many spammers leaving links to questionable sites on articles.  By having them undergo an approval process we are able to remove such comments.   As long as your comment doesn't violate the TOS it will show up.  In fact, I believe I approved it earlier today :)

Thanks for explanation -- and approving comment of course. ; )  Had wondered about "sent to a moderator" process because seemed like making more work for yourselves.  Now I know.  Spammers & bogus links to who knows what.  Appreciate the extra effort.
