Hi, I need a Police officers uniform from the 1920's era, preferably for M4. Does anyone know of one anywhere..?

What kind of uniform in particular? Like, what makes it a 1920s uniform?

There's a "Police Constable" uniform for M4 at Poserworld, that has a sort of British bobby look. With a helmet and all.

If you're looking for a longer coat, or something double-breasted, you might have to re-texture a military uniform.

Specify the country and region.  Uniforms will vary.

That doesn't help.  Those are modern uniforms.  The request was for 1920s-style uniforms but there is no specification for which country.

but seriously ... if for the 1920 then you might have to search for a Army Uniform and alter the textures a little, at that time the Uniforms had allot of similarity with Army clothes.

I thought the fact I asked for 1920's would have given the idea that I wanted a historical outfit, you know from a 100 years ago....

I did comment that you need to specify the country or region of that time; Police uniforms vary in style throughout the world now and in the 1920s.  It may not make a difference if your rendered depiction is not part of a storyline or an exact historical scene but if your period scene is reproducing events of that time for a specific location, you would want to build your stage as close to accurate as possible.  That's why most of the suggestions are rather ludicrous.

There's a huge variety of uniforms, depending on place. What particular style you wanted would have been helpful. A photo, even.

For example, the helmet was not used everywhere. Some cities used the same flat hat cops use today in the 1920s.

Some uniforms were double-breasted, or had bellhop/chef's coat type buttons on the front. Some had jackets with belts, some without. Some jackets were longer and/or looser than others. Some had jodhpur type pants, some didn't.

The keystone cops type uniforms had a top with a long, loose skirt type shape. If that's what you wanted, I would have suggested you create a texture for the "Valiant" clothing pack sold at DAZ.
