Subject: Problem with disappearing texture

This is realy getting on my nerves! When i apply a body texture, everything is ok and locking fine. The problem is when i apply things like hair or props or trans and bump maps to a skin. When i render it, it looks fine, until i move the figur. Then the texture disappear, not the skin texture just the bump hair and trans texture. Yes i have the tex and shade "ball" pushed. Could it be the Bump files? What the F... is wrong here? I asked about this yesterday and spent all night trying figure this out. Thanks for any responds in advance! Babar

There is nothing wrong. :-)) Its only for time saving!if you want to move the figure poser has to show the changes immediatly.calculating things like hair and so on would last to long and all would be very slowly. So the things are only calculated in the final render

This is not a problem at all, it is quite normal in fact. Items with transparency maps do not "show", and bump maps are not applied, until you do a render. As soon as you move the figure, Poser clears the render (unless you render to a seperate window) and then moves the figure, as you requested. If you do another render, the bump maps will again be applied and items with transparency maps will again be visible. Hope this clears up your mystery :o)
