So this is a newbie question. Sigh.

I've followed several people whose images I like. I rather expected that would mean that I would be notified when they uploaded a new image, but apparently not. This morning, browsing the New images from Gallery Home, I noticed several images by someone I'm definitely following. I double checked. 

Is there a setting somewhere that I'm not seeing? Something that would cause me to be notified?

That's how it typically works but those individuals I used to follow no longer post in the gallery.  It wouldn't be unlikely that something got broken somewhere.  I'd notify the mods.
